Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites, Buena Park

The hotel had amazing spacious rooms with an incredible view, but there was a weird smell at first that resembled dead fish. The cable channels didn't work in my room, which was disappointing. The service was unresponsive and lacked basic courtesy, although they eventually moved us to a new room with a working TV. The location was convenient for theme parks but lacked exterior upkeep. Dining was subpar and overpriced. Overall, the experience had its ups and downs.

The hotel location was the only good thing about it, being close to the medieval restaurant and ideal for family adventures. However, the rooms were uncomfortable with a bad mattress, noise from the roof, and a non-functional phone, and the dining experience was subpar with repetitive cold food at a cost. The staff seemed disinterested in assisting, though the location offered easy access to talk amongst themselves.

The hotel had some drawbacks like the issue with the temperature control in the rooms and limited towel availability, but the friendly staff and convenient location near popular attractions were definite highlights. However, the service had its ups and downs, with some hiccups in room maintenance and unexpected charges. The dining experience was a mixed bag with additional charges for breakfast, but the facility had potential with a decent steak offering on-site.
